June 09: Catherine's First Day of Daycare

June 06: Look, I'm so cute.

Catherine at about 2 months old. Love my baby!

May 09: Guys Fishing Trip, Carova NC

Yes, I did leave Kendra with the boys... and Catherine (who was only a month old)... for a week while I went with the guys to Carova NC. (CARolina Or VA = it's the last 12 miles of NC coastline before you get to the VA boarder.) No paved roads, just sand and wild horses. We had a great time, even if the fishing wasn't any good. We ate like Kings.

May 09: Rain in the mountains

Kendra and Grammie took the boys (and Catherine) up to Blowing Rock one weekend (while I was at the beach). Even though it rained, I think they had a good time. The boys made mini forts out of umbrellas... in the rain. Just wait until I get caught up to July. They did it again.

May 09: All aboard the USS Charleston

This should have posted back in May. (I'll move it later)
We went down to Charleston SC and spent two nights on the USS Charleston with our cub scout pack. It was awesome. The history, the planes and a weekend with the boys. (We also were able to raise the flag at Ft. Sumter.)

Just hanging out.

6:05 p.m. Monday August 3rd

So, here we are, sitting in the driveway waiting for Kendra... or Ashley to show up with a house key. Luckily I have a half a tank of gas, a spare bottle for Catherine, and my wireless network works well out in the front yard. Diapers may be a problem if we wait here much longer.
The "check engine" and "low coolant level" warning lights are nothing to be concerned about.

I guess I can also use this time to apologize for being slack with the blog updates. Time flies when you're having fun.

Boys in the Backyard

It's so hard to sit still for a photo. Boys will be boys.

Big Brother, a Big Help.

Patrick helping Kendra give Catherine a bath. Both of our boys have been a big help around the house since their little sister arrived.

It's like Christmas, but not.

Every so often Patrick and Alexander like to run through the house and find things to wrap. They like to have parties. It's cute now. Ten years from now maybe not so much. Anyway. Here are some photos of me and the boys opening these presents... and then a few of them acting silly. The one of Patrick with the gorilla… yes, he's nursing the gorilla.

Hold please.
